Once Here, Still Moving

HOT CROWD x RESILIENCE DANCE COMPANY

a spring double- bill performance

JOIN US

as we collaborate in our first evening length-double bill performance with St.Louis based RESILIENCE Dance Company under the artistic direction of Emily Haussler.

Hot Crowd joins forces with RESILIENCE Dance Company, a St. Louis–based contemporary dance company, to present an original double-bill performance. Audiences will experience two 35–40 minute Chicago premieres created by Hot Crowd and RESILIENCE respectively.

Hot Crowd’s co-directors Devon Lloyd and Brittany Latta McMahon, alongside RESILIENCE’s Artistic Director Emily Haussler, choreograph in response to the same thematic prompt: examining the importance of space, place, and time in defining our embodied histories and shaping our present selves.

From contemporary partnering to athletic floorwork, emergent movement to collaborative images, quirky gestures to high-caliber contemporary-modern technique, audiences can expect a full and riveting evening as Hot Crowd and RESILIENCE present one unforgettable performance series.
